Munich, May 14, 2012: Shepard Fox Communications to support Infineon Technologies in global CEO speaker placements

Shepard Fox Communications will support Infineon Technologies AG, the German semiconductor corporation, in placing its CEO and other management board members at conferences, trade shows, political panel discussions and industry meetings. The assignment covers Europe, Asia, and the US, and will run from mid 2012 through to mid 2013. It includes: selecting the appropriate events; placing Infineon at those events; preparing the CEO or Infineon board members for their presentations or discussions, and assessing the impact of these events on clients and prospects, media, and political stakeholders. Shepard Fox has already organized and managed several press events for Infineon, particularly in Asia, Infineon’s most important market.

Sao Paulo, January 5, 2012: XL Group plc obtains final approval to establish Brazil insurance operation

Singapore, June 1, 2011: Infineon invests Euro 250 million in Singapore with plans to expand research and development activities and add 130 new jobs

Infineon Technologies, the German semiconductor company, announced at an international press briefing today an investment of about Euro 50 million in production capacity expansion and research and development in Singapore as part of the investment volume planned for 2011 fiscal year. Furthermore, Infineon plans to spend about Euro 200 million over the next years in its existing development centre in Singapore, increasing the number of R&D engineers from the current 260 to 390 engineers. – Shepard Fox Communications planned and managed the press conference in Singapore, including press invitations, scheduling interviews, press release distribution, drafting the CEO presentation, and media monitoring.

The PR mission is to promote investment in Switzerland by German entrepreneurs, companies and investors. The Swiss Trade and Investment Promotion Agency is part of Osec, the state agency for promoting exports and imports and for the promotion of Switzerland as a business location. „Despite being neighbours, many German companies still associate Switzerland with mountains, chocolate and watches.
