ASTRID VAN DER PUT, AMSTERDAM

Astrid van der Put-van der Vlugt studied Business Economics - both marketing and finance. She has 15 years experience in marketing and PR and has worked for the following multinationals: Nedlloyd (1994-1997), Pakhoed (1997-2000), and Rodamco (2000-2002), where she held responsibilities in corporate communications for issues ranging from earnings releases to mergers and acquisitions. In the consulting firm Schouten & Nelissen (2003-2007), she was responsible for corporate positioning. In September 2007, she launched her own firm, focusing on rebranding, events, PR and product launches. She joined Shepard Fox Communications as a partner in 2010.

Jackie Yu, Beijing

She is a specialist in international sports marketing, fashion marketing, and sports sponsoring and has run campaigns for brands like adidas or Zegna and consulted companies like Siemens in their sports sponsoring activities. Besides being a marketing communications specialist she focuses on both Chinese domestic and international media relations.

Jann G. Ohlendorf, Berlin

Jann G. Ohlendorf, MunichAfter graduating from the German School of Journalism in Munich, Jann was a journalist for German business daily Handelsblatt, then business correspondent for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. After that he worked for the telecommunications group of Siemens AG, holding various positions in corporate media relations, internal communications and as a speechwriter for group board members. He now specializes in media training and communications for scientific and academic institutions, like the German Academy of Science and Engineering.

LÁSZLÓ JUHÁSZ, BRATISLAVA

László has12 years experience in radio and print journalism working for Reuters, Radio Slovakia International, Új Szó, and The Slovak Spectator. He has also served as spokesperson for the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development of the Slovak Republic and press secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister. After an engagement with the PR company Pro Publicum, he gained web marketing and on-line media experience with SEO Company, Foliovision, and the news portal Parameter.sk. László joined Shepard Fox Communications in 2010.

Patricia Lamas Sánchez, Brussels

AMALIA POPEANGA, BUCHAREST

Amalia Popeanga, BucharestAmalia has degrees in political science and public relations. She has more than ten years experience in marketing, public relations, and advertising in Romania and Italy. She has worked in both the private and public sectors on projects varying from economic development initiatives and accessing European Union funds to human rights issues and branding national energy companies. She has especially been involved in media campaign planning, corporate public relations strategy, and business to business communications.

János Kurdy-Fehér, Budapest

János Kurdy-Fehér, BudapestJános started his career as a press officer for the Hungarian Post. In 1994 he became the Spokesperson of the Hungarian Ministry of Transport and Communication. He went on to lead government relations units of leading international PR firms in Budapest. After being the Communications Director of one of Hungary's leading telecommunications providers, János founded his own Public Affairs and Government Relations company. In that capacity he also took over the Direction of Communications for the Hungarian University of Industrial Arts. János currently is an adviser to the Hungarian President as well as to the Secretary of State.

Linda Szabó, Budapest

Linda graduated from International Business School in Budapest, with a degree in marketing communications.  She began her professional career at Porsche Hungary as an external communications specialist. After four years, she moved to the sales department of TV2. Subsequently Linda took over the external communications of GE-affiliate Budapest Bank, and later served as the PR Director for Austrian Erste Bank and Hungarian Postabank, where she was in charge of all communications regarding the privatisation of Postabank and the merger of the two banks. Linda now runs her own local PR business out of Budapest and joined Shepard Fox Communications in 2009.

Nikolaj Henum, Copenhagen

Nikolaj Henum, CopenhagenAfter graduating from Copenhagen Business School with a Master’s in International Business, Nikolaj started his career as a consultant in a Danish advertising agency, working for the EU parliament. After that he worked at a Swedish Communications agency, consulting Nordic B2B and B2C clients. He then joined Adecco Denmark where he was Head of Marketing and Communications for six years. Nikolaj has also been giving lectures on PR at Copenhagen Business School for several years.

Líadain Von Der Decken, Dublin

She gathered her experience in leading PR agencies in Dublin, London, and Brussels on technology, telecommunications and logistics accounts. In 2000, she moved to Siemens AG headquarters in Munich to set up global PR campaigns for the telecommunications group of the company before moving on to Siemens USA in Atlanta. In 2007 she joined Shepard Fox Communications to represent Ireland where is working as a PR consultant specializing in telecommunications and financial clients.

Stefan Wichmann, Frankfurt

Stefan Wichmann, DusseldorfStefan began his career as a journalist working for leading German media Wirtschaftswoche, Zeit, Stern, and Spiegel. He then moved on to become the head of corporate communications at mobile operator T-Mobile where he was in charge of all communications of one of Germany's biggest IPOs, the going public of T-Mobile. He then founded his own PR business which he led and grew for more than a decade. After selling his company to Scholz & Friends he joined Shepard Fox Communications as a partner in 2009.

Tim Kaye, London

Tim KayeTim's career comprises 11 years to Board Director level in international  PR consultancies and 10 years as the founder and owner of his own business in London, primarily partnering Fortune 500 companies at the most senior global level. In that capacity he has developed global internal and external communication programs and projects for companies like Novartis and Adecco. Tim is an expert in Corporate Positioning and Vision, Change Management, Media Relations, Corporate Publishing, like Annual Reports, and Media Training.

Niclas Friese-Greene, Munich

Niclas has almost 20 years of experience in the marketing & communications field. He has a wide spectrum of expertise covering all forms of marketing communications, product management, and brand strategy. He has held senior executive positions in the consumer durable industry (Loewe Home Entertainment, Grundig AG, Siemens Mobile Phones) and in gaming & entertainment (Nintendo, Premiere TV). Jean-Philippe Lacour, Paris

Jean-Philippe Lacour, ParisAfter graduating from Paris IX Dauphine with degrees in business and finance, Jean-Philippe started his career as a controller. He then joined La Tribune, one of France´s leading business dailies, where he worked as a journalist for finance and law. In that position he co-authored several books on financial issues. After eight years with La Tribune in Paris he moved on to be the foreign correspondent of La Tribune in Berlin where he stayed for four years until joining Shepard Fox Communications in 2009. Jean-Philippe is a specialist in media relations and corporate publishing. And he runs the marathon in 2h35.

Ivy Soon, Shanghai

Ivy was born in Hong Kong and educated in the US. She has 20 years experience working in Asia with 10 years living and working in China.  Formerly a general manager for a global PR firm which expanded rapidly in Asia during her three year tenure, Ivy now heads her own firm in Shanghai with a broad range of clients. She specializes in brand building, communication strategy, and issue/crisis management. Ivy also is a sought after guest lecturer on PR and doing business in Asia at Chinese universities and has won several industry awards.

Ian Grundy, Singapore

Ia GrundyIan has over 20 years experience in international corporate communications. He has held senior positions for the Adecco Group in Singapore, New York and Zurich, with responsibility for the Asian and US marketing activities and overseeing global sponsoring partnerships, CSR and PR, respectively. Ian is an expert in international media relations, brand management, sponsoring, event management, and crisis management. Having begun his public relations career in the late eighties with an advertising and PR firm in the UK, Ian has a passion for new media solutions and practicing hands-on PR. Mark has more than 20 years experience in communications, with particular expertise in corporate image and reputation management, as well as in media relations, sponsorship management and marketing communications including branding. He worked for international PR agencies like Hill & Knowlton and Edelman, on the Vice President level, before founding his own company in Taipei in 2004, which holds accounts with leading international companies and brands from the healthcare & pharmaceutical sectors, as well as from the IT & telecommunications and financial sectors. Mark joined Shepard Fox Communications in 2010.

Christina Brandenstein, Vienna

Axel J. Schafmeister, Zurich

Olivia Coker, Zurich

Olivia Coker, ZurichOlivia began garnering communications experience with her first foray into the financial sector in 1995, as a production specialist at Oliver Wyman in New York. Since founding her own business two years later she has worked with clients including AIG, NatWest Bank, and Zurich Group on a diverse range of marketing, public relations, and publishing enterprises. Currently based in Zurich, Olivia specializes in high level English text for international organizations across industry boundaries.

Marta Falconi, Zurich

Marta FalconiBefore joining Shepard Fox Communications, Marta worked as a journalist, writer and editor for The Associated Press (AP), the largest news organization in the world, for six years, covering Italy and the Vatican. Prior to that, she freelanced for an American magazine, worked as a television producer and as a communication consultant for companies in Italy. Her journalistic experience ranges from general and breaking news, to feature and business writing. Marta holds two Master’s degrees - in Political Science and in Business Administration. She is English-Italian bilingual and speaks fluent French and Spanish.
