London/Munich, May 30, 2023: For the first time, more women than men were elected to German supervisory boards – Shepard Fox supports U.S. top management recruiting firm Russell Reynolds in promoting studies and surveys on executive leadership trends

This year, for the first time in the history of Germany’s most important stock market index DAX, more women than men were elected to the supervisory boards of Germany’s 40 largest listed companies: 55% of all newly awarded mandates went to women. In total, this highest increase within one year since 2016 means that the proportion of women on DAX 40 supervisory boards has reached a new all-time high of 37.8%  This is shown by an analysis by leadership consultancy Russell Reynolds Associates. It is an example of a local study the recruitment firm publishes on a regular basis in addition to a wide range of global studies on leadership trends and surveys among top executives, like the Global Leadership Monitor. – Shepard Fox supports Russell Reynolds in summarizing the results of their research, preparing the media content, and communicating the findings to clients, media, and the greater public. This is done via social media posts, press releases and media interviews with the Russell Reynolds consultants authoring the respective studies and surveys.
